Foundation Declaration for Thousand Suns Church of Mother Earth (TSCME)

I. Name

The name of this organization shall be Thousand Suns Church of Mother Earth (Thousand Suns CME), hereafter referred to as TSCME.

II. Statement of Faith

We affirm the sanctity and perfection of Mother Earth and Father Sky. TSCME is a State of Michigan Not-for-Profit / IRS 508(c)(1)(A) Faith-Based Intertribal Organization, a branch discipline and convocation of medicine people, teachers, space holders, and community leaders. We assemble under the spiritual authority of the Native American Church and guidance from Indigenous elders and teachers across the globe.

III. Declaration of Conscience and Sacred Purpose

We recognize TSCME as a restoration of pre-colonial and pre-conquest Indigenous lifeways—spanning Central, South, and North America; the Pacific Islands; Eurasia; and the ancestral traditions of European pagan roots and Asian lineages including Japan, Korea, China, Philippines, Thailand, Burma, India, and Tibet. These sacred traditions are being revived in the light of this age to restore Earth-based ceremonial, healing, and spiritual practices.

Our mission is to educate and serve—beginning in Lapeer, Michigan, extending across the USA and globally as Spirit guides. Through worship, counseling, traditional healing arts, sacred education, and discipleship, we train individuals to walk in the path chosen for them by the Great Spirit.

TSCME is:

  • Interfaith

  • Intertribal

  • Indigenous-rooted

  • Earth-honoring

  • Non-denominational

We affirm that:

  • All life is one, animated by the same Spirit.

  • Healing the Earth and healing ourselves are one sacred act.

  • The illusion of separation fuels suffering, greed, exploitation, and environmental destruction.

  • Restoring the sacred bond between humans and Earth is our highest spiritual responsibility.

We honor the plant teachers, sacred sacraments, and indigenous ceremonial practices that reconnect us to this truth.

IV. Universal Declaration of the Rights of Mother Earth

We affirm and proclaim that Mother Earth is a living being, and that all beings—organic and inorganic—share equal rights to exist, evolve, and live in harmony with all creation.

Key rights include:

  • The right to life, clean water, and pure air

  • The right to reproduce and exist free from human exploitation

  • The right to maintain sacred identity and freedom of movement

  • The right to natural, unadulterated food and medicine

  • The right to be free of pollution and environmental harm

We assert that Natural Law is supreme above man-made law. No species or being is superior to another. We commit to resolving all conflict through solutions that preserve the balance, health, and dignity of all creation.

V. Obligations of Humanity

It is the spiritual obligation of all humans to:

  • Live in harmony with the Earth and each other

  • Reduce harm, waste, and destruction

  • Promote sustainability, ancestral knowledge, and community resilience

  • Protect sacred land, waters, air, and beings

  • Empower future generations and preserve wisdom traditions

  •

VI. Origin, Prophets, and Sacred Teachings

TSCME draws its teachings from:

  • Christ Consciousness (embodied through Jesus, Buddha, Krishna, and others)

  • The Spirit of the Sacred Mushroom (Psilocybin)

  • The Spirit of Cannabis

  • The Spirit of Syrian Rue

These teacher-plants, used in ceremonial and reverent ways, reconnect us to Source. We acknowledge sacred texts and wisdom from global Indigenous, Christian, Vedic, Pagan, and ancestral traditions as foundational to our beliefs.

VII. Purpose

Our purpose is to:

  • Restore Edenic harmony through conscious living

  • Heal land and people with sacred ceremony and earth-based medicine

  • Train ministers and spiritual healers in indigenous tradition

  • Create sacred spaces for worship, education, and healing

  • Cultivate plant medicines with reverence and protection

  • Spread teachings globally through the internet and community outreach

We uphold the sanctity of entheogens as divine sacraments and tools for healing, when administered with love, discipline, and integrity.

VIII. Membership

Membership is open to those aligned with TSCME’s sacred principles. Levels of membership are determined by commitment, healing path, and spiritual readiness. Entry requires only sincere request and alignment with our foundational values.

IX. Governance

Final authority is held by the Great Spirit, expressed through sacred teachings. Governance is democratic and elder-guided, with leadership accountable to community oversight. Disputes are handled through structured, spirit-led councils.

X. Officers

Officers include the Senior Pastor, Elders, Deacons, Teachers, and appointed leaders. All roles are subject to review and community accountability.

XI. Sacred Calendar

We honor the following as Holy Days:

  • December 23 – Winter Solstice

  • March 21 – Spring Equinox

  • April 22 – Earth Day

  • June 21 – Summer Solstice

  • September 21 – Autumnal Equinox

  •

XII. Diet and Fasting

We recommend a plant-based diet and ceremonial fasting before major rites. Dietary discipline supports alignment with Spirit and integration of sacred plant sacraments.

Ceremonial Preparation includes abstinence from:

  • Alcohol, processed foods, caffeine, salt, sugar

  • Sexual activity (for energy preservation)

  • Harmful substances or medications without Elder counsel

  •

XIII. Appearance & Ceremony Dress

White or light natural fibers are encouraged for ceremonies, representing purity and divine light. Clothing must be respectful, comfortable, and allow movement.

XIV. Outreach & Communications

We will utilize digital and print platforms to share our teachings, educate the public, and support our members. All financial contributions support the sacred work and infrastructure of the Church.

XV. Bylaws & Policy Manual

Detailed bylaws are kept in a separate living document and are updated by Elders. They outline roles, rights, and processes of governance.

XVI. Amendments

Amendments to this constitution require a two-thirds vote and public notice at least 30 days prior to a formal meeting.

XVII. Church Meeting Minutes

Minutes will be kept as necessary. All activities are protected by the First Amendment, which guarantees the free exercise of religion.

“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof...”

TSCME stands as a living temple of Earth, Spirit, and Sovereign Law.

This document is a sacred charter, a spiritual constitution, and a legal affirmation of our right to exist, heal, and serve in alignment with the laws of creation, Indigenous tradition, and divine natural law.
